Here, generations of winemaking families have worked the land to produce sought after wines, the knowledge passed down from parent to child for centuries. With beauty and patience, filmmaker Emanuele Gerosa follows the growing season for three such families. But change is creeping into these hills, in the form of climate change and enticing real estate offers from foreign investors. Like any agricultural trade, there is already incredible risk, so for these families, a difficult decision looms along with the next pruning season as they contemplate an uncertain future.
