About this event

W omen+ on the Edge of Democracy is a partnership between the Flynn in Burlington, Vermont, and the Susan Smith Blackburn Prize, bringing together new ten-minute plays and monologues by women+ playwrights responding to the current state of democracy in America. This anthology they have compiled features works of prolific and popular modern women+ playwrights including Lynn Nottage, Sarah Ruhl, Lauren Gunderson, and more. This will serve as the Iowa premiere of the selected pieces, and will be presented as a staged reading featuring local actors and storytellers from the Corridor!
