About this event

Chamber Singers of Iowa City presents Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana, one of the most electrifying and instantly recognizable works in the choral repertoire. While many know the thunderous “O Fortuna,” the full piece is an exhilarating ride through fate, love, lust, revelry, and the unpredictable turns of fortune that shape human life. Chamber Singers of Iowa City will be joined by baritone Jeremiah Sanders, soprano Jennifer Kreider and tenor Adam Griffiths. Presented in the version for two pianos and percussion, the work is a powerful, unforgettable concert experience.
