- ➤ A criminal complaint confirmed that on March 13 an unprovoked assault occurred in the 1000 block of B Avenue when 24-year-old Daniel Doyen attacked a 48-year-old disabled veteran by punching him several times and then striking him with his cane — police arrested the suspect on Monday. KCRG
- ➤ A Cedar Rapids man, 24-year-old Daniel Doyen, now faces two new charges for willful injury causing bodily harm and older individual assault after he attacked an 80-year-old woman on the 1100 block of B Avenue on March 10+ he was already charged with assaulting a 48-year-old man on the 1000 block on March 13 while police continue investigating a third related assault in the area.
