- ➤ Iowa’s high school graduation rate reached 88.8% in 2025 with 35,116 diplomas awarded, marking its highest rate in five years and exceeding prepandemic levels; gains improved for students with disabilities, low-income backgrounds & those experiencing homelessness. KCRG

- ➤ Crews began repairs on the 3rd Avenue Bridge over the Cedar River on Monday, Apr. 6, closing the east half while limiting traffic on the west half until late summer. A detour via the 2nd Avenue Bridge ensured access to the Linn County Courthouse. CBS 2 Iowa
- ➤ On Monday morning, Michelle Zietlow Miller briefed Governor Reynolds’ Nuclear Energy Task Force on estimates that a small modular nuclear reactor would cost around $4 billion and take five years to build - state and federal tax credits could ease costs and promote regional partnerships.
