- ➤ Community members gathered Saturday morning at Marion Walmart along Highway 151 to pick up trash along 10th Avenue and Highways 151/13 for an Earth Day Adopt-A-Highway cleanup hosted by CR Pride and Linn County Stonewall—volunteers wore reflective vests, gloves and carried trash bags for safety. - ➤ The Linn County Sheriff’s office said they are searching for James Hannah Jr., who was released on April 18th at 7:00 a.m. for a work release program and did not return to the Correctional Center at 5:20 p.m., and authorities describe him as a black male (5'10" and 190 pounds) last seen wearing black pants, brown shoes and a grey coat. - ➤ A wrong-way driving crash on Highway 13 in December killed 18-year-old Yoseph Abera and injured three before 32-year-old Katie Austin-Karkow turned herself in on Friday and was charged with homicide by vehicle—operating while under the influence. CBS 2 Iowa
