- ➤ Texas Roadhouse reopened yesterday at its new Cedar Rapids location at 2425 Edgewood Rd SW after a brief two-day closure—moving just two doors down from its old address. The new site now seats 110 guests, creates 50 jobs, and adds 70 extra parking spaces. The Gazette
- ➤ Walmart announced Wednesday that it plans to remodel 10 Iowa stores including its Cedar Rapids location at 3601 29th Avenue SW as part of a larger plan to upgrade more than 650 stores across the country. The remodels will add new signage, expanded departments, and improved pharmacy areas while enhancing online pickup and delivery, though the start dates have not been announced. KCRG
