The City of Cedar Rapids will close Fifth Street from Seventh Avenue to the alley between Seventh and Eighth and Seventh Avenue Southeast from Fifth to Sixth Street from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. today as Benz Beverage Depot hosts its Beerfest.

Vintage Market Days of Eastern Iowa opens today at Hawkeye Downs in Cedar Rapids for a three-day expo featuring upscale vintage and antiques with unique finds from over 15 states—funds raised will benefit Adopt-a-Pet Rescue and Cornell College men’s soccer team.

Courtlin shared her favorite local dishes in a gallery featuring restaurants in Cedar Rapids and nearby areas, with highlights from early March to early May (capturing both familiar spots and new finds).
