- ➤ Cyclists from across the country and overseas are joining RAGBRAI, a week-long bike ride across Iowa that features a tent showcasing Italy Bike Tours. An Orange City native said Italian riders are excited to join the event and experience Iowa culture — they want to feel like true Iowans. KCRG

ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A two-stall garage caught fire on Sunday evening in Linn County at about 6:20 p.m. — fire crews quickly contained the blaze, but the building sustained severe damage while officials investigate the cause as no one was home. KCRG
- ➤ On Saturday afternoon, Robins Fire Rescue and EMS responded at 4:40 p.m. to a rollover accident on Northhaven Drive where one person was trapped but was removed with no serious injuries. KCRG

- ➤ Eastern Iowa native Mark Kaufman is reviving the Iowa River Power Restaurant in Coralville by renovating the building and expanding its dining areas. He will lead the renovations while an outside restaurant group manages operations—preserving the historic name and nodding to its origins in 1844. KCRG
