- ➤ During the trial for Bagley’s murder, witness Drew Wagner said that in December at a mobile home, drug dealer Andrew Shaw planned to kill Bagley by paying friends and giving money for a gun—he said the fight was arranged before it happened. KCRG
- ➤ A man wearing a white hoodie, dark pants, and a surgical mask held a knife to a cashier at a Cedar Rapids convenience store on Center Point Road NE just before noon today—he took an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing on foot as police ask for information. CBS 2 Iowa
- ➤ Cedar Rapids Police are asking for help finding 15-year-old Diana Gomez—who was last seen at 3:00 a.m. on Aug 12 at 4410 Loraine St. NE while wearing a black shirt and dark grey sweatpants. CBS 2 Iowa

- ➤ Circle of Ash Haunted Attraction is celebrating its 10th season at Linn County Fairgrounds with Hallowed Harvest — a 1,200-foot trail lined with thousands of hand-carved pumpkins — and it will offer discount nights along with special events such as Bark 'n' Boos on October 3 and Lite Fright on October 19 and 26; tickets go on sale August 15.
