- ➤ Cedar Rapids Police say someone was stabbed at the Kum & Go on 32nd Street and 1st Ave late Sunday night at 9:30 p.m. with injuries not life threatening and no arrests have been made. KCRG
- ➤ The Pines Pizza and Pub is asking for help to identify a suspect who stole six empty kegs and a security camera worth about $320 earlier this month—he was seen wearing a mask with a distinctive cannabis tattoo on his back left calf and may be driving a Dodge Nitro. CBS 2 Iowa
- ➤ Cedar Rapids police arrested 32 year old William Robert Atkinson (from Belle Plaine) on Aug. 22 around 8:00 p.m. on charges of first degree harassment, terrorism threats, false imprisonment, assault on law enforcement and marijuana possession after investigators connected him to multiple harassment cases involving courthouse officials and law enforcement, and he is held at Benton County Jail on a $50,000 cash bond.
