- ➤ A Missouri family in Cedar Rapids had their cat Tinkerbell rescued after she jumped from a moving car on Highway 13 early Sunday, with owner Lisa and rescue groups searching roads and cornfields until Tuesday when she was found safe—now Tinkerbell is secured in her carrier for her return home. - ➤ Multiple fire departments worked together to control a large brush and tree debris fire in Beverly Park after Cedar Rapids firefighters were called at 11:22 a.m. Tuesday morning — the fire was under control by 12:40 p.m. but is not fully out as the cause is under investigation. CBS 2 Iowa
