Good morning, Cedar Rapids.

Latinos Unidos for Community Inclusion hosted Cedar Rapids Festival Latino at McGrath Amphitheatre on Saturday to honor National Hispanic Heritage Month by offering authentic Hispanic foods, live Latin-American music, dancing and free activities for children.

Local trap shooting teams visited the renovated Izaak Walton League range on Saturday after it underwent a $300,000 update that began in May, with donors and volunteers including Prairie High’s Jonas Greene improving ADA compliance, safety for spectators, and throwing machines.

The upgrades will help students from Prairie High, Kennedy and Marion Independent high schools and Coe College compete more fairly in trap shooting events.
