- ➤ Tuesday marked National Voter Registration Day and Linn County officials reminded residents to register for the November elections. A voter registration table is open at downtown Cedar Rapids Public Library through the end of the week—staff will be at Ladd Library on Wednesday to update records and accept absentee ballot requests. - ➤ The Iowa DOGE Task Force held its final public meeting Monday to share plans for better job training, tech security, and smarter spending in government.
