- ➤ Winnebago Industries posted a strong fiscal Q4 with net income rising to $13.7 million — up 153% from last year — as price hikes helped offset weaker consumer demand at its Iowa factories in Forest City and Lake Mills. - ➤ Starting today, eastbound traffic on 8th Avenue SW between 6th and 4th Streets is closed for private sewer repair work— a detour will be posted while the westbound lane remains open. The repair project is expected to last about four days so drivers should plan alternate routes. CBS 2 Iowa
- ➤ Cedar Rapids held an open house at the city services center on Wednesday where residents saw sewer machines, drones, and computers controlling traffic signals—City Animal Control also showed cats and dogs for adoption.
