- ➤ On Thanksgiving morning, more than 100 volunteers at IBEW Hall prepared free meals for over 700 seniors for UnityPoint AbbeHealth Aging Services. They delivered boxes filled with stuffing, mashed potatoes, turkey, and green beans—helping seniors in need receive a traditional meal—across Cedar Rapids. KCRG
- ➤ The U.S. Postal Service is urging local residents to adopt letters from Operation Santa as part of its 113th year of helping families receive needed gifts this holiday season — packages must be mailed by December 13 to arrive by Christmas.
